Victoria Bia Doh

Graduation: Spring 2027

Victoria Bia Doh is a dedicated second-year pre-medical student, majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology. She is deeply committed to research and serves as a research assistant in the McCrae Sleep Research Lab as well as the REACH Lab. In these labs she focuses on cognitive behavioral sleep treatments for rural dementia caregivers and neural mechanisms affecting health outcomes within the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Bia is also a team leader within the Undergraduate Research Society investigating CRISPR gene editing on fetal development. Her passion for leadership shines through her roles in the Dean’s Student Leadership Society and Phi Delta Epsilon, where she mentors others and cultivates a positive environment for growth.

Mallarie Day 

Graduation: Spring 2025

Mallarie Day is a senior majoring in psychology and criminology at the USF St. Pete campus. She has worked hard to become the vice president of the Judy Genshaft Honors College Student Council and stays highly engaged through her roles as the honors LLC residential assistant, undergraduate research assistant, and USF ambassador. Off-campus, Mallarie works as a behavioral health technician and volunteers as a crisis counselor. When she's not on campus or at work, you can find Mallarie relaxing in her hammock by St. Pete's waterfront, reading a good book. After graduation, Mallarie plans to pursue a master's degree and PhD in clinical psychology.

Dani Greif 

Graduation: Spring 2025

Dani Greif is a Senior earning her BFA in Studio Art with a specialization in animation and 3D modeling. She currently serves as the Vice President for the USF Ambassadors. Dani has always been involved in the arts. She started her professional career at the age of 12 when she began traveling the state for professional-level chalk mural competitions. She has won multiple titles such as people’s choice, best in show, Mayor’s choice, as well as being the VIP Artist for the Gasparilla Festival. Dani has always been passionate about themed storytelling and would like to one day work in the theme park industry designing attractions and experiences for guests.

Chad Hosein 

Graduation: Spring 2025

Chad Hosein is a senior electrical engineering student expected to graduate in Spring 2025. He is currently the President of the Running Club at USF, Peer Mentor Lead, and Honors Ambassador. One of Chad’s favorite memories at USF was studying abroad in Germany for 6 weeks, where he was able to see how engineering is applied outside the classroom. Chad intends to continue his academic journey by pursuing a Master’s degree in electrical engineering right here at USF. He hopes to combine his passion for engineering and aviation, while also keeping consistent with his running ambitions.

Tianyi Li Bueso 

Graduation: Spring 2025

Tianyi Li Bueso, originally from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, is on track to graduate in May 2025 with dual degrees: a BA in Statistics and a BS in Quantitative Economics and Econometrics. With an added minor in Chinese Language and Culture, Tianyi brings cultural awareness to her work. Dedicated to the power of data and environmental initiatives, Tianyi plans to launch a career in the nonprofit sector. She is also working toward a certification in visualization and design to enhance her ability to communicate. By combining quantitative expertise with design skills, Tianyi aims to make environmental data more accessible, empowering communities and organizations to make informed decisions for sustainable futures.

Cayley McCloskey 

Graduation: Spring 2026

Cayley McCloskey is a third year pre-health honors student studying psychology, with minors in biology and sociology. She currently participates in Lung cancer research, and works as a nursing assistant for Moffitt Cancer Center. Her passions lie in medicine and teaching, and she hopes to become a registered nurse before obtaining her PhD. She currently holds leadership positions in a health humanities journal, The Capsule, and is the mental health chair in Mu Epsilon Delta. Cayley enjoys being a varsity rower for USF, and a member of the running team. She is also Concert master violinist for the honors orchestra, a soprano for honors choir, and is enrolling in symphony orchestra.

Felicia Nguyen

Graduation: Spring 2025

Felicia Nguyen is a Biomedical Sciences major who is minoring in Psychology as well as Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She is currently a senior on track to graduate in the spring of 2025, with aspirations to serve her community through practicing medicine. Felicia is passionate about equal access to healthcare and is dedicated to the advancement of medical care through research, hoping to blend her interests to contribute to a brighter, more equitable, and compassionate future.

Isabela Piana 

Graduation: Spring 2026

Isabela Piana is an international student from Brazil double majoring in Business Analytics and Information Systems and Econometrics and Quantitative Economics. She currently works as a lead facilitator at the USF Challenge Course and as Project Assistant for the CLCE. Isabela is Vice president for Women in Business and loves how the organization has grown into a safe space for women leaders. She is also proud to be a USF Ambassador, Treasurer for the Dance Club, and Events Director for HEXA Consulting Junior Enterprise. Off campus, she is a part of the Collegiate Leadership Program from the Tampa Bay Chamber and is a tap dancer for the pre-professional company Rhythm & Sole.

Ramya Subramanian 

Graduation: Spring 2025

Ramya Subramanian is a senior pursuing concurrent degrees in environmental science and information science. She currently assists in monitoring water quality as an intern at the Southwest Florida Water Management District. Her fondest experience at USF was serving as a peer mentor and lead at the Judy Genshaft Honors College. Through this position, she has further developed her passion to become a professor someday. In her free time, she enjoys creating oil and acrylic paintings for environmental awareness and writes poetry pieces for USF’s Sparks Magazine detailing Asian-Pacific Islander experiences.

Gabrielle Whyte 

Graduation: Spring 2025

Gabrielle Whyte is a senior majoring in Humanities and Cultural Studies with a concentration in Film and Digital Media Studies. She is also pursuing a minor in Political Science and is dual-enrolled as a graduate student in the Cultural Studies MA program. Gabrielle is the founder and president of the New Media Collective at USF, a peer reviewer for the Close-Up undergraduate media studies journal, a member of USF mock trial, and a community outreach committee member in the Dean’s Student Leadership Society. Gabrielle is passionate about researching the impacts of global media production and cultural exportation looking to start a career in entertainment and intellectual property law.

Patricia Brutus

Graduation: Spring 2025

Patricia Brutus is a dedicated senior majoring in Biology with a minor in Psychology. She is committed to pursuing a career in medicine and aims to attend medical school. As president of USF Ambassadors, Patricia demonstrates leadership by organizing events, mentoring younger students, and fostering connections between students and alumni. Her involvement extends to serving on the Alumni Association board, where she collaborates to enhance the university community. Patricia embodies the values of service, leadership, and community, with a long-term goal of advancing equitable healthcare practices both locally and globally.

Caleb Fernandes 

Graduation: Spring 2027

Caleb Fernandes is a double major in computer science and quantitative econometrics with a minor in geographic information systems. He is a member of the professional co-ed engineering fraternity, Theta Tau, and an ambassador for the Office of National Scholars. In his free time Caleb enjoys playing the tenor saxophone and guitar as well as playing sports with friends. He looks forward to joining the Order of Golden Brahman with the intention of cultivating new friendships.

Anna Gustafson 

Graduation: Fall 2024

Anna Gustafson is a Political Science Honors student, graduating in fall 2025. She has served as an Honors Peer Mentor, Secretary of USF’s Best Buddies program, and an opinion correspondent for The Oracle. She has conducted foreign policy research, interned in the Florida House of Representatives, and worked as Regional Field Director for a gubernatorial campaign. After graduation, Anna will intern at The Heritage Foundation’s Allison Center for Foreign Policy Studies in Washington, D.C. Hoping to attend the University of Oxford for a master’s in intellectual history, Anna aspires to lead higher education reform and, later, serve in Congress.

Sumit Jadhav

Graduation: Spring 2025

Sumit Jadhav is a senior majoring in Computer Science with a strong interest in finance. Serving as the Student Body Vice President, he has represented students across three campuses at both university and state level, demonstrating his commitment to inclusive leadership through involvement on the Alumni Association Board. Beyond academics, Sumit is an enthusiast of adventurous sports like paragliding, trekking, and scuba diving, and has a keen interest in aviation. Sumit’s long-term vision is to merge his tech, advocacy, and finance expertise with his drive for social impact, aspiring to contribute to policymaking in growing economies like his home country India.

Brandon Lopez 

Graduation: Spring 2027

Brandon Lopez is a sophomore double majoring in Microbiology and Linguistics. He is heavily involved on campus through organizations like Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity and Global Medical Brigades. He aims to become an infectious disease physician working abroad to serve humanitarian medical relief organizations and continue his passion of learning foreign languages. Outside the classroom, Brandon has played the saxophone for 7 years and is excited to be a part of such a diverse group of student leaders.

Karen Medina 

Graduation: Spring 2025

Karen Medina is a senior double majoring in Political Science and English with a focus on literary studies. Karen is the 5th Term Ranking Justice in the Student Government Supreme Court, a Student Representative on the Conduct Board, and was a 2022 Orientation Leader. Karen’s experience includes working with the International Association of Women Judges, Hillsborough County Government Relations, and Minority Leader of the House of Representatives. She volunteers with the Red Cross and is a certified International Humanitarian Law advocate. Driven by a passion for justice, Karen aspires to attend law school, envisioning a career in human rights law where she can advocate for those impacted.

Katie Orlick 

Graduation: Spring 2028

Katie Orlick is a first-year student in the Judy Genshaft Honors College majoring in History. Her numerous honors include being a Kosove Society Scholar and a Genshaft-Greenbaum Global Explorer Scholar. Katie serves on the University Conduct Board and has been a Congressional Intern for United States Congresswoman Kathy Castor. Currently, Katie works for the Tampa Bay Lightning and enjoys volunteering for several organizations in the Tampa Bay area. Upon graduation, Katie is planning on attending law school.

Dora Rodriguez 

Graduation: Spring 2025

Dora Rodriguez is a senior majoring in World Languages and Cultures with concentrations in Spanish and Biomedical Sciences. She is also pursuing a minor in Biomedical physics and has participated in biomedical research. Dora acts as Supervisor of Elections in student government and holds the role of President of the JGHC Garden club. Outside the office you can find Dora at the USF Community Garden where she has taught classes on food security, food sovereignty and sustainability. In the future, Dora hopes to pursue a career in community health and nutrition.

Kareem Suleiman 

Graduation: Fall 2025

Kareem Suleiman is a biology major on the pre-med track, who holds leadership roles in Students Organize for Syria and Down to Dance. His commitment to medical service is evident through involvement in Phi Delta Epsilon, the McCrae Sleep Research Lab and volunteer work at the ER and a needle exchange. Kareem’s research journey includes volunteering at a GI center investigating blood biomarkers for early detection of colon cancer and other independent research. Through these experiences, Kareem is growing skills all while staying dedicated to making a difference in healthcare.

Savannah Cullen Woods

Graduation: Fall 2026

Savannah Cullen Woods is a paramedic student studying Cell and Molecular Biology. Aside from her coursework, she is dedicated to her involvement with the Undergraduate Research Society. She also works as a Laboratory Assistant and as an Emergency Medical Technician for the City of Tampa. Currently, Savannah serves on the executive board of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as well as the Health Policy and Advocacy Coalition at USF.

Chandrika Ganduri 

Graduation: Spring 2025

Chandrika Ganduri is a senior majoring in Public Health expected to graduate in Spring 2025. She plans to attend graduate school to get her Master's in Healthcare Administration. In the future, she hopes to work in health policy to reform our healthcare system on the state and national levels. Chandrika loves getting involved on campus and her favorite part is singing with USF Tones of Gold A Cappella. Off campus she also enjoys volunteering at Tampa Bay Watch, where she gets to help a team of conservationists protect Florida's sea life.

Jasmine Haroun 

Graduation: Fall 2026

​Jasmine Haroun is a third-year Biomedical Sciences major who’s work experience includes being a Pharmacy Technician at Publix and an Honors Ambassador. Jasmine’s hands-on experience through studies abroad in the Dominican Republic and Japan, increased her passion for medical humanities and healthcare. These experiences led Jasmine to join the USF chapter of Camp Kesem, which provides support for children affected by a parent's cancer and this has been one of Jasmine’s most memorable experiences. She is the former president and current e-board member of the Student Alumni Association, and her future plans include staying connected to USF by attending the Taneja College of Pharmacy after graduation.

Prithvi Kota 

Graduation: Spring 2025

Prithvi Kota is a senior pursuing a dual degree in Biology and Econometrics & Quantitative Economics. He is the President of the GloBull Ambassadors, a program under the Education Abroad Office that allows him to work with those who love diversity and culture. He is also the Vice President of the Office of Multicultural Affairs, overseeing the iBuddy program which connects international and domestic students with the hopes of cultural exchange. Prithvi is also Traditions Director at the Campus Activities Board, where he plans and executes Homecoming Week and USF Week events. He is committed to creating a more supportive and engaging environment around him, while preparing for Medical school.

Anandita Makkar 

Graduation: Fall 2026

Anandita Makkar is a junior biomedical science major dedicated to contributing to the future of therapeutic discoveries. She works toward this goal by investigating breast cancer treatment responses for Moffitt Cancer Research. Anandita’s experience includes leading research initiatives on hormonal dysregulation and its effects on conditions like PCOS. She works to address critical issues in women’s health and has advocated for student wellness on campus as a peer health educator.

Vincent Milianta 

Graduation: Spring 2026

Vincent Milianta is a management major whose goals are to attend law school. Currently, he is the Chief Justice of the USF Student Government Supreme Court. Along with this, he has participated in mock trials and interned for his local clerk of courts office. Aside from law, Vincent is passionate about athletics working with the Recreation and Wellness Center as a sports programs supervisor.

Edward Pedraja 

Graduation: Spring 2025

Edward Pedraja is a Field Artillery Officer with the 2-116th FA in the Florida Army National Guard. He serves as the Platoon Leader for Radar and is a Senior Medical Assistant at Tampa General Hospital. He is also a graduate student in Exercise Science at the University of South Florida and the President of the Graduate and Professional Student Council. With a background in healthcare and the military, Edward is a leader committed to patient care, advocating for mental health and community well-being. As he prepares for medical school, he aims to pursue emergency medicine, particularly in underserved rural communities, combining his skills to promote positive change.

Kaila Smith 

Graduation: Spring 2026

Kaila Smith is a double major in political science and psychology on the pre-law track. She has had various involvements on campus, including competing in mock trials, serving on the USF conduct board, and hosting events for minorities in pre-law. She is currently working as the Federal Attorney General in Student Government, where she ensures that rules and regulations are followed. She plans on going to law school to study litigation or international law.

Muhammad Umar Hashmi 

Graduation: Spring 2027

Muhammad Umar Hashmi is a sophomore Mechanical Engineering major from Islamabad, Pakistan. With plans to pursue a minor in Aerospace Engineering, Muhammad remains focused on his dream of working for NASA. He actively contributes to campus life as the Professional Events Coordinator for the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, where he helps organize events that connect students with industry professionals. Additionally, Muhammad serves as Treasurer for several student organizations, including the Model United Nations Club, the Cricket Club, and the DesiBullz dance team. Muhammad’s interests span from playing volleyball and swimming to engaging in cultural celebrations, debates, and professional seminars.

Samin Yasar 

Graduation: Spring 2026

Samin Yasar is a student leader majoring in Econometrics & Quantitative Economics with minors in Computer Science and Math. As the inaugural President of the Office of Multicultural Affairs Student Programming Board, Samin helps lead different heritage month events. Moreover, as one of the Vice Presidents of the Campus Activities Board, he oversees all your favorite CAB programs. Known for their passion for inclusivity and student engagement, he recently represented USF at the National Association for Campus Activities Board Conference. Samin also serves as a Dining Ambassador for USF Dining and is a founding member and Treasurer of the USF Pickleball Enthusiasts Club. 1.
